  • T.V. PILOT: Detective Sherlee Holmes - Luna-Base 1 Short Synopsis:
  • The diverse colonists on Luna-Base 1 include the African-American Holmes family and their 15-year old daughter, Sherlee. (They thought it was “cute” to name her after the famous detective because Sherlee’s mother is a multi-generational descendant of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.) Sherlee, a math genius and socially unskillful, dislikes when people ask about her name. She finds it especially annoying when queried by her new classmate, Donatello — an “Earther” who professes to be a fan of the great mystery author.
  • When Sherlee learns that her and her friends’ favorite holograph teacher, Professor August Harrington, has abruptly died, she encourages them to accompany her to Earth for the funeral. There, they discovery that Harrington may have been murdered, and that he worked on a program which may put Sherlee in mortal danger. (Find the script on Ink Tip) FULL-LENGTH PLAY: THE FAMILY TREE
  • THE FAMILY TREE (working title) is the story of the Jackson family at an ominous time – both in their own lives and in the world. The youngest member, Tony, is confronting the insanity of his life; his older sister, Bella, is on the verge of losing custody of her son to her ex-husband; and his oldest sister, Sonja, is about to lose her marriage. They are all dealing with “the world, the flesh, and the devil” against the backdrop of an impending catastrophe. The play had a director's "table reading on 7/1/22 with actors from Theatre One Productions and will move to a staged reading in April 2023. Recipient of the 2023 Massachusetts Cultural Council grant in playwriting. FILM SCRIPT: HINTERLAND HINTERLAND is not only a suspenseful murder mystery, but also depicts a clash of cultures—urban vs. rural in a countryside that’s closer to Appalachia then to Boston and has never been written about before. It is also the story of a man and woman drawn together from these disparate worlds in search of a serial killer.
